During those first years, members had to meet for service in many different places, but this did not sway them from their steadfastness to the House of Prayer faith. WebBishop W. McCollough, successor bishop to Daddy Grace, took over the reigns of this organization and led it to higher heights and deeper depths in Christ Jesus. Bishop Walter ("Sweet Daddy") McCollough joined the House of Prayer in Charlotte, North Carolina at the age of fourteen. There he served as a Boy Scout.
