You must create a variable and give it a value before you can use it elsewhere. Go find any good C++ tutorial and go through the first bit of it and you will learn these sorts of basics pretty quick. I do have gl/gl.h and gl/glu.h which have already been included through the #include directives of the header files of the source of vgl.h and loadshaders.h headers which source is listed on the opengl-redbook.com website which I listed.

WebWhere the one in the class scope is only assigned once and then reused. When I first started programming in VB5 this sort of thing was a big point of discussion. I remember a tutor insiting that a variable declared in the scope of a method was slower and used more memory, although at the time I didnt profile this myself.
