There are so many footpaths criss-crossing Portsdown Hill and Portchester Common, its a wonderful place to walk dogs, although I would recommend sturdy footwear. Look out for cattle and horses grazing, there are normally signs up saying they are loose. http://www.portsdown.org.uk/places.htm
